Entry 6: Final Blog Reflection.

I personally did not like blogging at all. This used to be an activity where I could vent when necessary and have fun. Putting deadlines on this type of thing really took the therapeutic quality from it. Being required to write is a necessary part of an English class which honestly is the only reason that the blogs were completed in the first place.

I took these assignments as strictly homework which was probably the reason I felt that the joy was sucked out of my writing. I love to write and it is one of my favorite hobbies but I just could not get into this way of producing work. I do not know if it was because this assignment was online or if because I blogged beforehand but I can assure that this was not fun at all. I simply did the required work and the comments to get it over with.

The assignment as a whole could have been useful to other students but not for me. For those who were not used to blogging or particularly saw the assignments in a different light probably fared better in this area of the class. Maybe taking a hybrid class was a mistake on my part because I don't like having interacting with my classmates a part of my grade. I'm more isolated and concerned about my own well-being in my courses.
